Bioinformatics Analyst for Cancer Epigenomics
One Bioinformatics Analyst (Post-Doc) position is open in the laboratory of genomic data science and epigenome biology at the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Cell Biology, West Virginia University (WVU). The lab focuses on epigenetic mechanisms of drug resistance in the bone marrow tumor microenvironment of multiple myeloma and B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. We apply a data-driven approach to define the hypothesis by evaluating epigenomic changes implicated in drug resistance using state-of-the-art epigenetic assays such as RNA-Seq, ATAC-seq, CUT&TAG, and single-cell multiome assay.
